BCS Families,

Bolton Center School encourages students to participate in the Commissioner’s Summer Math Challenge this year.

We all know the importance of summer reading, and continuing to build our math skills over these months is just as crucial.  Math is everywhere and there are many opportunities to incorporate practicing math skills and solving problems through our summer adventures. The state department has partnered with a free online resource to offer your child a fun program that will provide specific and personalized summer learning.  The program is for our students who have completed grades 1 through 8 and runs from June 17th to July 26th.

Registering takes a few moments by simply following the link below:

Our ultimate goal is to have as many students as possible participate in this program. There are additional resources attached below that give more details about the importance of this opportunity as well as supply students with a very brief log to share their learning.  Turning in the log will not be graded, but it will be essential in helping us determine how many students participated.  All participants will be recognized in the first several weeks of school.

We appreciate all of your support at home and look forward to the success of this program.
